Why I’m Running

Calgary is more than just a city to me, it’s a community that has formed who I am. Raising three kids here continues to strengthen my passion for keeping Calgary strong.

In conversations with friends, colleagues and fellow parents, I continue to hear concerns about the direction our City is going. Will my children ever be able to afford a home? Can my business survive increasing regulation and taxes? Is my spouse safe commuting to work downtown?

I’m not willing to sit back and watch our city lose its edge. My success as an executive leader in both private and public organizations, combined with the perspective I gained from my time on Council, provides a unique skillset that I am confident will make Calgary a better place to live.

I’m running for Mayor because I want Calgary to provide the same opportunities for my children as it did for me. I want to create a City that the next generation of young professionals will choose to call home, and a community that seniors and young families can both afford and enjoy living in.

I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and put in the hard work to set a steady path forward. I hope you will consider joining me.
